Lexsee Educator
How to use the tutor dashboard
In this lesson, you'll learn how to get started using the tutor dashboard.
Getting started as an educator
Sign up with Lexsee as a tutor, teacher or educator. This creates a blank dashboard where you can add students and create assignment with WCPM measurements.
You can always click on the Use Lexsee Reader to see the classic library view, or click your own name to try out the Lexsee WCPM assignment workflow.

When you click your own name and email, you'll be able to add assignments to your own user and even try out the assignments to see how they work.

Adding a student
After clicking Add Student, enter the student's email and click Invite to add them to your student list. Inviting a student creates an item in the list. This item is used to organize assignments and and progress charting.
Note: The student does not need to complete the joining process for you to use all of Lexsee's assignment functionality and review their progress.

Managing Students
To remove a student from your list, or view assignments from their point of view, open the Actions menu located on the corresponding student profile.

Student View of Invitations
If a student joins Lexsee and has an account, they will receive an invitation to collaborate. Students can collaborate with more than one tutor using Lexsee. Students with Lexsee accounts will have access to past assignments and see ones in one place. Once accepting the invitation, students can view all of their past and new assignments in one place.
